The Journey are teaming up with local community group Samosa Sisters to host a Supper Club on Saturday May 27th. Beautifully crafted vegan and gluten free food will be served up in the warm and vibrant atmosphere of this lovely café, located close to the Laing Art Gallery. The whole menu and concept for the evening is about community being and all inclusive, so dining will be communal. There will be refreshments on sale or you can BYOB.
Samosa Sisters are a grass root women-only organisation who’s aim is to support and empower vulnerable women living in the North East of England. Men are encouraged to also attend this event – everyone is welcome! All the profits from the evening will be donated to the work Samosa Sisters does within our local communities.
I have had the pleasure of meeting Sara from Samosa Sisters at a PAYF café close to where I live. You can read more about this here. After sampling the delicious food served up at St. Chads Church I know those attending this Supper Club are in for a real treat.
